Ceramic gift

Ceramic gifts are particularly decorative eggs used in the celebration of Easter in Western countries. Traditionally, dyed eggs have been used. The modern custom is usually to use egg-shaped chocolate instead. Eggs are usually hidden in advance and then found by children. It is a symbol of Easter and a way to express friendship, love and good wishes. Christians use the egg as a metaphor for "the beginning of a new life" and a symbol of "the resurrection of Jesus and coming out of the stone tomb".

The use of eggs to symbolize the resurrection of life was popular before the birth of Jesus Christ. Western Europeans believe that eggs have two lives: the first is laid by a hen, representing "rebirth", and the second is broken out of the shell, representing "rebirth", which also symbolizes resurrection.

The early Christians of Mesopotamia dyed their eggs red to honor the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

At Easter, Catholic believers will paint eggs red, ask priests to consecrate, and also as a gift to friends, this is the earliest origin of giving eggs.

In Germanic cultures (the German region, Northern Europe and the English-speaking world), Ceramic gifts are usually accompanied by the Easter Bunny. It is also believed that Ceramic gifts are brought by the Easter Bunny.

In France and Belgium, eggs are said to be dropped by clocks flying through the sky. In Christian tradition, church bells are silenced on the Friday before Easter in honor of Christ, who died in crucifixion, and then rung again on Easter morning to mark the rebirth of the Lord. Church bells, with wings, fly first to Rome and then back on Easter morning, dropping Ceramic gifts on the way.
